Portal #6

$800.00

This portal was cut from a 5’ x 10” painting. When I create my smaller works I like to create viewfinders that I move around the surface of a larger piece. I am looking for tiny details that are lost. I could describe it as looking for the most beautiful trees in the forest. By identifying the lost details and then freeing them from the larger piece I give them a new life of their own. The effect this has is powerful because what was previously lost now has the ability to draw you from wherever you are into the present along with it.

Jessica Joy London | Ink on Yupo | 12” x 12”

Mounted on 3/4” wood panel that hangs flush to your wall. (more images coming soon)
